Job Description

Position Overview: The Senior Accountant, External Reporting will be primarily responsible for assisting with the preparation of SEC filings and related support and assisting with equity and lease accounting. This position will also assist with technical accounting consultations via research and analysis accounting of issues. This position reports to the Manager of External Reporting and works closely with the Director of External Reporting, Assistant Controller, and the accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation of 10Q,10K and other SEC filings (such as 8Ks) in Wdesk in accordance with US GAAP.

• Support company-wide technical accounting consultations via research and analysis of complex accounting issues, applying relevant technical guidance and interpretation (examples include contract review, lease accounting, software capitalization including Software as a Service accounting, research and development efforts, and revenue recognition).

• Assist with accounting for equity awards and lease agreements, and other month-end close assignments.

• Assist with the assessment and implementation of new accounting standards.

• Assist with providing on-demand reporting and analysis for business partners, including but not limited to FP&A and Tax.

• Partner with business leaders as well as accounting and finance team to identify necessary operational improvements with potential financial reporting impact.

• Assist with SOX compliance as it relates to the Controllers Group

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, MSA preferred

• CPA required

• Minimum of 2-3 years of public accounting required or Corporate experience at SEC registered entities Skills and Competencies:

• Team leader as well as a team player • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet expected deadlines

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to communicate at multiple levels of an organization
