The City of Lakeville is seeking a dedicated and analytical Senior Accountant to help guide our community's fiscal success. In this role, you will play an integral part in managing month-end and year-end closes, general ledger reconciliations, debt schedules, and our annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). You will also partner closely with department leaders to build annual budgets, shape the five-year capital improvement plan (CIP), and analyze utility fund projections.
Success in this position requires sharp problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced environment. While municipal fund accounting experience, a CPA certification, and familiarity with BS&A software are all preferred, your strong customer service orientation and commitment to public service are what will make you truly stand out.
This position is part-time, working up to 29 hours per week.
