Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant at the managerial level to join our client team, maufacturing industry. The successful candidate will oversee the accounting department's operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective financial management. This role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the companys assets.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing training and development opportunities.
• Coordinate and manage the annual audit process with external auditors.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals and objectives.
• Ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies and procedures.
• Handle special projects as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting.
• Proven experience in the manufacturing industry; a combination of experience in a Big 10 accounting firm and manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Total experience 10 years - 15 years.
• Proficiency in English, with experience working in a multinational company being an advantage.
• Basic proficiency in Mandarin/Hokkien, particularly for conversational use.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Willingness to work until Saturday, half-day.
