The Role

This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions for a portfolio of companies as a non-AP processing officer.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions for a portfolio of companies.
• Timely and accurate preparation of finance and statutory reports in accordance with GAAP, IFRS and other statutory requirements.
• Preparation of financial statements and disclosures in accordance with GAAP.
• Maintenance of accounts, issuance of monthly tax invoices and credit notes ensuring the accuracies of entries and completion of supporting documents.
• Issuance of SOA and LPI invoice to the tenants on a monthly basis.
• Preparation of rolling forecasts and annual budget.
• Handle tax related matters, ensuring the accuracy of data input, and maintenance of financial data and reports in SAP.
• Handle quarterly VAT returns, interim corporate tax return and year-end corporate tax returns.
• Assistance in internal audit, statutory annual audit and random tax investigations.
• Monthly reconciliation of company bank accounts.
• SAP testing/rollout for enhancements and perform ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

Job Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with Degree in accounting or business administration.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experiences in accounting.
• System experience with SAP BPC will be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English & [local language] to communicate with local stakeholders (to delete if not applicable).
• Good knowledge of accounting standards and IFRS will be advantageous.
• Resourceful with a keen analytical mind, conscientious and attention for details.
• Motivated, committed, pro-active and optimistic with a 'Can-do’ attitude/mind-set.
• Self-driven and able to work independently under tight schedules.
• Good team player and able to communicate effectively with various parties.
