Are you ready to turn complex EMEA month- and quarter-end closes into clear, trusted results that power decisions for life-changing medicines? Based in Dublin, you will join a high-performing Global Financial Services Controlling team that steers the close for a portfolio of EMEA entities and ensures on-time delivery of local statutory audits. Your work will convert data into insight, elevate controls, and support leaders as they invest in therapies that matter.

You will own end-to-end Record to Report for designated entities and partner across finance, operations and our outsourced provider to deliver accurate, timely results. This role blends technical excellence in IFRS, US GAAP and local GAAP with practical problem-solving and continuous improvement. You will thrive in a dynamic, growth environment, build strong relationships across borders, and help shape how we scale with integrity. How will you strengthen our close, simplify processes and accelerate insight?

  • Outsourced Provider Management: Liaise with the external service provider to ensure complete and accurate execution of close activities and issue resolution.
  • Global Partnering: Collaborate with finance colleagues locally and globally, stay close to local market developments, and determine appropriate accounting treatments for changing facts and circumstances while meeting global deadlines.
  • Accounting Compliance: Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP, applying sound technical judgment and documentation discipline. - Balance Sheet Integrity: Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly to protect financial integrity.
  • Statutory Audit Delivery: Support statutory audits for your entities, partnering with the Associate Director Statutory Reporting Coordinator to complete audits on time and review local GAAP financial statements.
  • Integrated Audit Support: Contribute to the year-end integrated audit, coordinating deliverables and ensuring audit-ready evidence.
  • Financial Analysis and Queries: Respond to ad hoc analysis requests and finance queries with clear, actionable insight. - SOX Controls: Operate within the SOX control framework, completing assigned control procedures and supporting specified SOX activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive operational and process improvements that simplify the close, reduce risk and enhance insight over time. Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Experience using SAP or other major ERP Systems is desirable - Experience of Blackline, Power BI and MS Copilot an advantage - Multinational pharmaceutical experience a plus - Ability to deal with ambiguity, simplify messages, embrace change and comfortable working in a high growth, fast paced and multi-task environment
  • Demonstrated success in a deadline driven, mutli-task environment - Can-do attitude and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, presentation (storytelling) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines. In-person working gives us the platform we need to connect, work at pace and challenge perceptions. That's why we work, on average, a minimum of three days per week from the office. But that doesn't mean we're not flexible. We balance the expectation of being in the office while respecting individual flexibility. Join us in our unique and ambitious world.
