ACCOUNTABILITIES:

·Supervise and undertake the financial accounting transactions in accordance with the finance policies, processes and procedures as well as the commercial and statutory requirements of the business e.g. the timely payment of employees, suppliers and other stakeholders.

·Provision of financial transaction processing that is accurate, efficient and in accordance with the financial control requirements.

·Maintaining the financial ledgers in accordance with the business policies, processes and procedures.

·Reconciliation of the general ledger accounts on a monthly basis as required.

Responsibilities:

·Maintaining financial controls which are applicable to the processes being transacted e.g. creditor statement reconciliations.

·Providing support to internal customers in the application of the established policies, processes and procedures.

·Provision of data integrity and liaise with other functions and BAE Systems businesses to achieve streamlined integrated processes which meet overall business objectives.

·Supervise and support the reconciliation of business balances with relevant external parties such as banks, BAE Systems businesses and government/taxation authorities.

·Supervise and support the provision of financial analysis as required.

· Analysis of tax information as required.

·Resolving issues on a timely basis.

·Undertaking additional activities as necessary to support internal and external stakeholder requirements.

·Supporting own team as required.

·Working in a professional manner.

Job Requirements:

·The role would typically require a degree in Accounting or SOCPA membership.

·Minimum of 3 years of relevant finance experience.

·Working toward a professional accounting qualification e.g. SOCPA, CMA, AAT, CIMA.

·Supervision of small team of Operations Accountants, planning workload and activities to cover for absences, counselling employees on performance and contributing to PDR meetings.

·Has a good understanding of Accounting concepts and procedures.

·Their level of proficiency enables them to apply their skills and knowledge and ensure essential procedures and controls are followed.

·The role requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on analysis of factual information.

·The role has an impact on the business through providing value added services that are important to the financial integrity of the business.

·The role requires good communication and interpersonal skills including business level English language.

ITAR RESPONSIBILITIES:

·The jobholder is required to adhere to BAE Systems Saudi Arabia processes and policies with respect to ITAR.

·Ensures that Export Control Training appropriate to the role (Awareness) is undertaken and refreshed as necessary.

·Inputs to Export Control as a standing agenda item at team meetings to discuss, identify and address any Export Control related issues arising.

SHE RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Acts in a safe manner and challenges unsafe behaviours and conditions.

·Utilises “spot it report it’ to identify and manage risk.

·Undertakes all SHE mandated training.
