The Senior Accountant will be responsible for advanced accounting tasks that require in-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and processes while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist with financial reporting, audits, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial transactions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits, responding to audit inquiries, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain and update accounting records and ensure they are accurate and complete.
  • Ensure the proper application of accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
  • Maintain and update funding records in Salesforce and NetSuite, ensuring they are accurate and complete.
  • Maintain and update intercompany and B2B sales records in NetSuite, ensuring they are accurate and complete.
  • Serve as backup for contractor payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of contractor pay when needed.
  • Serve as backup for payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll when needed.
  • Calculate and process commission payroll data accurately and timely for employees.
  • Perform basic treasury functions such as wires and referral payments.



Qualifications



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working Conditions

  • In-Office, sedentary physical requirements.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training or business needs.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner and manage multiple tasks independently.

Compensation & Benefits


  • Salary Range:
    $80,000 to $95,000, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Performance-based bonuses.
