Job Summary

To strengthen end-to-end accountability across the CAPEX lifecycle, we are establishing an integrated Fixed Assets and FP&A model within the Capital Controllership & Reporting function, spanning our Global sites.

Reporting to, and working closely with, the Senior Manager, Global Fixed Assets, in this role you will own both Fixed Asset Accounting Execution and FP&A forecasting for a defined set of markets and value streams.

You will play a pivotal role in our CAPEX process for your assigned markets, being accountable for both the FA sub-ledger and the FP&A forecast, while also providing market insight to senior stakeholders across Fixed Assets and FP&A.

You will develop a deep understanding of your assigned markets – their assets, their forecasts, and the business driving them – and play a key role in shaping the integrated FA/FP&A operating model as it matures across the wider CAPEX function.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Fixed Assets and FP&A for assigned markets
• Own the end-to-end FA process for assigned markets: capitalisation, CIP, leasing and disposals
• Own the FP&A forecasting cycle for the same markets: annual plan, monthly reforecast, variance analysis
• Integrate FA actuals (CIP movements, capitalisations, disposals) directly into the market-level CAPEX forecast
• Operate as the single point of accountability for CAPEX in your assigned markets – no handoff required between FA and FP&A.
• Drive month-end FA close for assigned markets within company deadlines
• Collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders including business and project teams, Operations, Engineering, the wider FA and FP&A teams, Senior management, and internal/external auditors.
• Actively manage AUC/CIP balances for assigned markets to ensure accurate, SOX compliant reporting and accounting, and reflect capitalisation timing accurately in the forecast.
• Identify forecast risks and opportunities from FA data – capitalisation delays, early completions, scope changes – before they hit the P&L.
• Prepare and present monthly CAPEX performance packs for assigned markets, combining FA actuals and FP&A forecast in one integrated view.
• Partner with business and project stakeholders in assigned markets to validate spend timing, project milestones and asset readiness.
• Support balance sheet reconciliation and audit requirements for asset related balances in assigned markets
• Stakeholder partnership:
• Share market insights with the wider FA team and FP&A team in joint monthly reviews
• Contribute to the design of the integrated FA/FP&A operating model as it matures across other markets
• Control environment:
• Maintain compliance with company policies, US GAAP and SOX requirements for assigned markets
• Liaise with internal and external auditors
• Technology and service:
• Use SAP (or similar ERP) and reporting tools to drive efficiency in your markets – we’re always looking to improve how we work
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting for assigned markets, translating FA actuals and FP&A forecast data into clear, actionable management information.
• Track and report ROIC metrics for assigned markets, ensuring capital investment performance is monitored and communicated accurately.
• Flag control exceptions proactively and resolve with the FA controls lead and Director, escalating where required.
• Other duties as assigned

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience required

Work Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of PQE experience, with multi-national companies

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Qualified accountant i.e. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA preferred
• Previous Shared Service Centre with multinational publicly quoted company experience preferred
• Working knowledge of US GAAP
• Proficient in SAP or similar ERP
• Experience of BI tools an advantage
• Proficient in Power BI or equivalent data visualisation tool; ability to build management reporting from FA and FP&A data
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across both FA and FP&A disciplines in a matrixed environment
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills i.e. ability to communicate and work effectively with a wide range of region, division and corporate functions
• Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description

5%: Up to 13 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Pay Transparency:

The annual base salary range for this position is €63,008.00 - €80,192.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.

This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
