Job Description

Our client is a leading alternative investment fund focused on China with over US$26.6 billion. They have expanded to become a diversified alternative asset management platform covering:  Private Equity, Venture and Growth Capital, Real Assets, Private Credit, Public Equities and Private Wealth Management. They are currently seeking a Senior Accountant / Accountant to join their team. 

Senior Accountant / Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Handle full sets of accounts independently for licensed corporations (Type 1, 4 & 9)
• Responsible for the monthly financial reporting, management reporting, quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting, FRR reports
• Perform daily liquid capital monitoring and cash management
• Perform regular analytical review on the company financial statements
• Liaise independently with external vendors, auditors and other professionals regarding audit, tax and banking matters
• Work closely with other members of the finance team/ other business units within the group for intercompany transactions and settlements
• Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards, financial systems and processes
• Work on regulatory returns under Security and Future Act for the submissions to Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)
• Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecast to maintain Risk Based Capital Adequacy Requirements
• Other ad hoc works as assigned by the company 

• Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
• 1-3 years’ relevant experience
• Good command in MS Word, Excel and Chinese typing
• Good command in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Strong analytical skill & problem solving skill with proactive attitude and able to work independently 
• Immediately available is highly preferred
