Mission

In the context of lack of personnel in Finance department, we are looking after a specialized economist that will:

• Work within the accounting team regarding: accounting setup, invoice and expense reports processing, bank statement, payroll, provisions, fixed assets and small inventory, any other economic event that must be booked in accounting records.
• Ensure the correct recording of all the accounting operations performed and proceed with the balance reconciliations and componence for the allocated accounts;
• Ensure the registration of all reporting and accounting operations within the legal deadlines imposed
• Prepare the yearly inventory file - factual-written correspondence, as well as the activities in connection to annual closing;
• Prepares and submits various reports required by management, the group and authorities

Activities

I – Project transversal

• - Contribute to and participate in the project steering committees
• - Ensure the link between the CET finance team and Spain implementation team for the on-going projects and developments of the Business Central (former Navision) tool
• - Effectively communicate relevant information to the team and Chief Accountant

II- Senior Accountant – roles and responsibilities

- Work within the accounting team regarding: accounting setup, invoice and expense reports processing, bank statement, payroll, provisions, fixed assets and small inventory, any other economic event that must be booked in accounting records

- Record accounting notes, issue the invoices and books the corresponding revenue, as well as the direct costs in connection to revenue;

- Verify the correctness of the monthly accounting balances;

- Performs recordings and reconciliation of the balances of the accounting accounts allocated by the Chief Accountant

- Internal reports for management analysis and permanent controls, reconciliations of clients and suppliers;

- Assist and prepare the tax statements

- Assist and prepare group reporting

- Assist and prepare the annual financial statements and the mid-year reporting

- Report to NBR and National Institute of Statistics

- Prepares and submits various reports required by management, the group and authorities

- Give support for statutory audit and inspection generale with regard to accounting requirements;

- Give support to update the annual transfer pricing report according to the legal requirements;

- Performs periodic controls as part of the annual control plan;

- Prepare the yearly inventory file - factual-written correspondence, as well as the activities in connection to annual closing

- Prepares and updates policies and work instructions related to the accounting department;

Competencies

• Finance and Accounting operational experience
• Experience in local Romanian finance reporting
• Good communication and analytical skills
• Ability to understand the requirements and interpret/write technical specifications regarding ERP implementation
• Exposure to Navision is preferred but not mandatory
• Foreign language: English
