  • Compile, analyze, and refine financial data to support management reporting and informed decision-making.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of the general ledger system and related financial tools used across the organization.
  • Serve as a reliable backup for key accounting functions and help maintain continuity across the Finance team.
  • Partner with colleagues across Finance and other departments to resolve issues, improve workflows, and strengthen processes that support scalability and efficiency.
  • Provide support for special projects, ad hoc reporting, and evolving priorities as assigned.

Benefits and Flexibility:

Stratos Wealth Partners offers a competitive total rewards package designed to support employee well-being, professional growth, and long-term financial wellness; highlights include:

  • Paid time away from work, including a generous PTO plan and paid holidays.
  • Hybrid work schedule; working three (3) days per week in the office and two (2) days remote.
  • Educational assistance for continued professional growth.
  • Paid Parental leave benefits to support employees during important family transitions.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, with multiple medical plan choices and an HSA-compatible option.
  • Retirement savings support through a 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Employer-paid life insurance, AD&D, short-term disability, and long-term disability benefits.

  • At least 4 years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting; experience in financial-services or a regulated environment is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and the ability to apply accounting principles in a practical business setting.
  • Hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, account analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Experience supporting internal controls, process documentation, audits, or SOX compliance activities.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial data, formulas, lookups, and summary tools.
