This role leads critical month-end close, consolidation, debt accounting, and external reporting deliverables across a multi-entity corporate structure (including operating company, real estate holding, and parent/financing entities), and serves as a key point of contact for lenders, auditors, and outside advisors on debt- and covenant-related matters. This is a highly visible role suited to a detail-oriented accountant who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with significant complexity across debt instruments, intercompany relationships, and multi-entity consolidations.

  • Accrue and true-up interest rate swaps monthly, and prepare annual interest rate swap fair value entries.
  • Reclass debt issuance and financing costs from due diligence/prepaid accounts to the appropriate debt cost accounts monthly, quarterly, and at the time of refinancing.
  • Support treasury management activities, including cash forecasting, wire and transfer set-up, and positive pay administration.
  • Calculate and record intercompany interest charges (due to/due from) between entities.

Intercompany Accounting & Complex Consolidations

  • Prepare and review intercompany reconciliations between entities.
  • Post monthly intercompany entries and eliminating entries across the consolidated entity structure.
  • Prepare and review consolidated and standalone GAAP financial statements for multiple legal entities.
  • Calculate and maintain entity-level EBITD and results.

Financial Reporting, Lender & Parent Company Reporting

  • Prepare and distribute lender-facing reporting packages, including monthly operating reports, EBITDA walks, and supporting schedules for lender calls and presentations.
  • Prepare the consolidated monthly reporting package (life-to-date) and parent-company financial reporting deliverables.
  • Prepare quarterly covenant compliance certificates, pro forma financial statements, and borrowing base calculations and certificates in accordance with credit agreement requirements.
  • Coordinate with lenders, banks, and outside counsel on debt-related reporting requests, amendments, and covenant matters.
  • Support external audit requests related to debt, treasury, consolidations, and financial reporting.

Management Operating Reporting

  • Prepare and distribute the Management Operating Report (MOR) package and related trending/analytical reporting tools used by executive leadership.
  • Prepare holding cost and EBITDA reconciliations for closed or divested locations to support covenant and pro forma reporting.
  • Partner with FP&A and operations teams to ensure management reporting ties to GAAP consolidated results.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from the Chief Accounting Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

Month-End Close & General Accounting

  • Own assigned month-end close responsibilities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting deliverables per the close calendar.
  • Maintain and post accruals, amortization schedules, and reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts.
  • Utilize NetSuite for journal entries, reconciliations, reporting, and general ledger maintenance across multiple entities.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • CPA license or active pursuit of CPA required.
  • Prior experience with NetSuite required.

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-entity accounting environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact directly with senior leadership, lenders, and external advisors.

Preferred Qualifications
