The Senior Accountant is responsible for assisting in monitoring financial objectives and budgets, analyzing and reporting accounting variances, and developing and monitoring accounting reports, budgets, and control mechanisms.
Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy of account balances.
Prepare monthly financial statements and development of reports.
Prepare monthly investment activity journal entries.
Responsible for maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory agencies.
Perform analysis and reporting on accounts receivable.
Assist in development of the annual budget and coordinate communications with departmental managers.
Manage fixed asset inventory and monitor depreciation schedules.
Develop, forecast, and analyze the impact of special projects or new services.
Prepare accounting records for and coordinate external audit.
Research payroll laws and regulations.
Function as payroll backup to individual with primary responsibility.
Provide guidance and assistance to finance staff.
This position is open to residents of the State of Indiana, and requires routine presence at our Center in Indianapolis, IN. Frequency of on-site presence is dependent upon role and department needs.
