RESPONSABILITIES

1. General Accounting & Reporting

• Support the Accounting Manager in preparing financial and statutory reporting for all legal entities within the Turkish perimeter.
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and cut-off procedures.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of monthly closing according to IFRS and Group accounting rules.
• Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations, ensuring proper documentation and full traceability.

1. Tax Operations and Compliance

Support tax-related processes:

• VAT declarations.
• Corporate income tax preparation.
• Stamp tax / withholding tax.
• Property tax and other local tax obligations.
• Assist in preparing files for tax audits, coordinating with external auditors, consultants, and the Accounting Manager.

1. Treasury & Cash Management

• Assist in daily treasury operations: bank reconciliations, payments, cash positioning, monitoring of cash inflows & outflows.
• Support forecasts and ensure compliance with Group Treasury rules.
• Contribute to the documentation for financing, guarantees, and treasury-related audit requests

1. Compliance, Controls & Processes

• Ensure that accounting procedures comply with corporate policies, internal control framework, and local regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the implementation of new accounting standards, process improvements, and internal control action plans.
• Support internal and external audit missions: preparation of schedules, documentation, explanations, and follow-up on corrective actions.

1. Support to Business Groups & Cross-functional Coordination

• Act as an operational point of contact for Business Groups and local operational teams on all accounting topics.
• Provide support to controlling, tax, treasury, purchasing, and HR on accounting-related matters.
• Collaborate with Shared Service Centers / BPOs when applicable for reconciliations, invoice processing, and reporting.

1. Continuous Improvement & Project Participation

• Participate in finance transformation initiatives (digitalization, process optimization, automation).
• Support accounting migration projects, ERP enhancements, and cross-country accounting cluster activities.
• Contribute to action plans to improve accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of financial processes

MORE SPECIFICALLY, THE ROLE WILL:

• Ensure daily accounting entries are accurate, complete, and aligned with internal procedures.
• Prepare month-end closing tasks and support the Accounting Manager in ensuring strict deadlines are met.
• Perform detailed analytical reviews to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
• Monitor tax calendars, ensure timely submission of declarations, and prepare supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing statutory financial statements and audit packages.
• Secure full audit trail and compliance with OPMobility’s accounting standards and internal controls.
• Coordinate with internal teams (One OP Accounting HUB, Controlling, Tax, Treasury and, Legal) and external partners (auditors, consultants).
• Provide reliable analysis and accounting insight to support management decision-making.actions

REQUESTED PROFILE

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent. CPA appreciated.
• Min 7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS is a plus.
• Experience with monthly closing processes, accounts reconciliations, tax and treasury support.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred), reporting tools such as HFM and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical mindset, accuracy, and ability to communicate clearly.
• High sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and ethics.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Team spirit and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
• English language mandatory
