The Opportunity

As a Senior Accountant, you'll work closely with Managers and Partners while taking increasing ownership of client engagements and advisory projects.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Review

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
• Analyze financial information and supporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
• Assist with complex tax engagements and projects
• Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy

Tax Planning & Advisory

• Research tax laws and technical issues
• Assist with tax planning initiatives and projections
• Identify planning opportunities for clients
• Support consulting and advisory engagements
• Stay current on changing tax laws and industry developments

Client Service

• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters
• Assist clients with information requests and planning discussions
• Deliver exceptional responsiveness and service
• Support clients throughout the year, not just during tax season

Professional Development

• Expand technical tax and accounting knowledge
• Participate in continuing education programs
• Develop industry specialization expertise
• Learn firm best practices and advisory methodologies

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
• Strong understanding of accounting and tax principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred

• CPA license or active CPA candidate
• Experience with real estate, agriculture, or construction clients
• Tax planning experience
• Strong client-facing skills
• Desire to pursue future leadership opportunities
