We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to assist the Controller in managing the accounting function across our Philippines, Singapore, Colombia, and Canada entities. The ideal candidate combines solid audit experience with hands-on accounting expertise and is confident in owning the full accounting cycle for a multi-entity, international organization.
General Accounting & Close
Own end-to-end monthly close processes for the Singapore, Colombia (consolidation only), and Canada entities
Prepare and own the consolidated monthly financial statements across all entities, including consolidation adjustments
Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations across the group
Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
Maintain and improve accounting records and workflows in NetSuite, including consolidation reporting
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS, ensuring consistency across jurisdictions
Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements in each country by partnering effectively with local tax advisors
Support external audits by preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation
Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls and close efficiency
Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed
Support due diligence, entity structuring, and special projects as the business scales
Ensure proper documentation and support for management and statutory financial statements
Project Management, Process Improvement & Implementation
Lead and support finance projects from planning through implementation
Coordinate stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed successfully
Implement and improve systems, workflows, and controls across the finance function
Identify inefficiencies and streamline processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
Build and document SOPs and repeatable processes to support a growing business
5 years of total accounting/finance experience
Minimum 2 years of prior audit experience preferred
Experience managing accounting for multiple international entities/jurisdictions preferred
Prior exposure to Philippines, Singapore, Colombia, and/or Canada accounting or tax environments is a strong plus
Strong working knowledge of IFRS; able to apply standards independently
Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred
Experience with using AI in building accounting workflows is a strong asset
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; comfortable working with large data sets
Experience with multi-currency accounting and consolidations and asset
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA preferred
Strong communication skills; comfortable working with cross-border, cross-functional teams
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple entities and time zones
Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced, growing organization
Experience with entity onboarding/migration onto NetSuite
Prior experience in a shared services or multi-entity accounting environment
