The Role

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the company's accounting and financial reporting functions while owning assigned accounting processes from month-end close through financial analysis. This individual will collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and help improve accounting processes and internal controls.

  • Own assigned accounting processes, including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Prepare financial reporting schedules and support corporate reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Partner with operations, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and resolve accounting issues.
  • Research and apply GAAP while helping strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes.
  • Support special projects and assist with mentoring and developing other accounting team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA eligible required and CPA preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience with manufacturing, industrial services, or similar industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
