We have an opening for a Sr Accountant based in our Franklin Park, IL headquarters. In this role you be responsible for performing accounting and other financially related tasks including month end close, posting journal entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and processing of CONCUR credit card transactions. You will also be instrumental in the preparation for the external audit as well as sales tax audits.

What you will do:

• Prepare monthly/weekly Concur Corporate credit card transactions data for the GL posting and the month end accrual as well
• Prepare and upload month end journal entries to SAP.
• Performing timely and accurate month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that accounting schedules are updated and accurate.
• Preparing year-end audit workpapers, interacting with external auditors, and ensuring compliance with GAAP, GASB, or tax regulations
• Monthly financial statement close work completed in accordance with closing schedule
• Identifying efficiencies in accounting processes, implementing new technologies, and updating internal control policies.

What you will need

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ Years Relevant Experience
• Certified Public Account (CPA) preferred
• Ability to use discretion when working with confidential information.
• Advanced level experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Analyzes information and uses logic to address work-related issues and problems.
• Excellent analytical skills and an aptitude for numbers.
• General experience working with SAP ERP Business System.
• Understanding of the Principals of Accounting, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliation.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $92,000 - $103,000 annually.

This position is eligible to participate in the company incentive plan. The terms and conditions of the company incentive plan will be provided to plan participants on an annual basis.

Our compensation range reflects our good faith estimate of what an ideal candidate can expect, but final agreed upon compensation will always be based on the individual candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related or market factors that may prove relevant during the hiring process.
