Job type: Full-time, permanent
Expected pay range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team based in the 8330 Chester Street office located in Vancouver, BC.
The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, conducting financial analysis, coordinating tax research and advice, and supporting the finance department through a significant ERP uplift. This role requires a thorough understanding of accounting systems, good financial processes, reporting and regulatory requirements, and strong analytical skills.
You will have the opportunity to:
• Support the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Perform detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and identify trends
• Provide support in implementing new accounting standards and regulations
• Have a good understanding of corporate tax to prepare monthly tax accruals, research and provide guidance to support new initiatives
• Coordinate and support the team through an ERP migration to Cloud platform as a key project
You will be a good fit if you have:
• 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or retail is an asset
• CPA designation
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience with financial system migration
• Proficiency in financial analysis and accounting software (experience with Syteline is an asset)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and strong leadership skill
• Experience in a manufacturing/and or retail environment is an asset
