Sourced. is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Senior Accountant to lead accounting quality assurance and oversee the organization’s internal books. This role is responsible for reviewing client bookkeeping to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency within QuickBooks Online, while also maintaining ownership of the company’s internal accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Client Quality Assurance & Oversight:

• Conduct comprehensive deep-dive audits of client QuickBooks Online files to ensure data integrity, identify technical discrepancies, and deliver actionable feedback for the bookkeeping team.

• Execute final review and authorization of monthly financial packages—including Balance Sheets, P&Ls, and Cash Flow Statements—ensuring "investor-ready" quality before client delivery.

• Continuously refine and maintain the firm's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for QuickBooks Online (QBO) workflows to enhance firm-wide efficiency and accuracy.

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the team, providing high-level technical guidance on complex accounting entries, multi-entity mapping, and GAAP compliance.

• Internal Financial Management:

• Manage the end-to-end internal accounting for Sourced., including transaction categorization and reconciliation of all company accounts.

• Prepare internal monthly financial statements, ensuring total alignment with GAAP standards and providing a clear snapshot of the firm’s fiscal health.

• Conduct financial and cash flow analysis to support business decisions.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to guide financial planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience utilizing GAAP standards

• Public Accounting/Multi-Client Background is a must

• Expert proficiency in identifying and fixing all Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow and financial reporting issues.

• Advanced QBO Certification

• Proficiency in Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPS, and building financial models.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.

• Strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to work independently.

• Experience creating documentation and workflows.

• Hands-on experience with payroll (Gusto, ADP, etc.), bill pay ( Bill.com, QBO, etc.), and adjunct (Keeper, Double, etc.) accounting softwares.

• Adaptability to learning new technology apps to help deliver the work and streamline the firm’s processes.
