As aSeniorAccountantat Litera,you’llown the accuracy and timeliness of expenses and accruals across a global, multi-entity business running on NetSuite.You’llpartner with teammates across multiple time zones, drive a clean andtimelymonth-end close, and help us re-engineer accounting workflows with automation and AI. Ifyou’rea CPA who gets excited abouteliminatingmanual work, building smarter Excel models, and putting technology to work on the heavy lifting, this is the team for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Ownassignedgeneral ledgeraccountingand month-end closeactivities,includingjournal entry posting,account reconciliations, flux analyses,and all associated reporting requirements,toensuretimeliness and accuracy
Prepare and review accruals across a multi-entity global organizationPartner with FP&A, AP, and other budget stakeholders in multiple time zones to ensure expenses are properly classified,accrued, and explained
Identify,implement,andmaintainbest in class systems and processes, including automation and AI-assisted workflows,to ensure an efficient and effectiveaccountingteam
Support external audit requests, internalcontrolsdocumentation, and technical accounting research as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPArequiredwith strong working knowledge of US GAAP
2-6 years of accounting experiencedemonstratingincreasing responsibility
Demonstratedtrack recordof automating and improving accounting processes
AdvancedExcelexpertise(complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and macros/VBA)Experiencewith high growth software company and/or private equity ownership a plus
General ledger and other accounting systems experience Prior NetSuite experiencea plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability tocollaborate effectivelyaccorsstime zones and cultures.
Flexibility and adaptability – Must be comfortable with shifting priorities, new tools, and evolving processes

Pay Transparency Notice for New Jersey Applicants:
The annual salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000. Actual compensation is determined by factors including education, work experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications. Litera offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company contribution, and incentive and recognition programs. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
