- Shore360 is a 100% Australian-owned BP firm based in the Philippines, providing customized staffing and administrative support for international companies, handling recruitment, HR, IT, and office facilities so clients can focus on core business, offering transparent pricing, dedicated teams, and flexible setups.
- This role is responsible for managing full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties and supporting corporate accounting functions, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and monthly close processes. It ensures accurate maintenance of general ledgers, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with reporting and tax requirements. The position works closely with the Assistant Controller and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Property Accounting Responsibilities
a. Responsible for a portfolio of properties in Bellingham, WA and Eugene, OR, including general ledger maintenance for 150+ properties in the Entrata accounting system
b. Processing payments for accounts payable
c. Processing monthly owner distributions
d. Disseminating monthly financial statements to owners
e. Reconciliation of monthly bank accounts
f. Reconciliation of security deposit funds
g. Booking reconciliatory journal entries
h. Processing monthly management fees
i. Assisting with semi-annual/annual payments of property taxes & insurance
2. Corporate and Partnership Accounting Functions (QuickBooks)
a. Monthly credit card processing/coding
b. Monthly property reimbursements and intercompany reconciliations
c. Semi-monthly recording of payroll journal entries
d. Monthly bank reconciliations
e. Processing monthly excise taxes related to management fees
f. Assisting with monthly close processes for the corporate entity
g. Assisting with annual 1099 filings
h. Assisting with annual tax preparation items
i. Preparing property replacement reserve requests
j. Paying and maintaining a list of partnership reporting and tax payment requirements
k. Paying and maintaining a list of city, county, and state reporting and tax payment requirements for business licenses
3. General Finance Department Structure
a. Work closely under the Assistant Controller
b. Occasional work with the CFO on special projects
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to multi-task and complete monthly accounting cycle processes
efficiently and timely - Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills and a Team Player
- Well versed in Microsoft excel.
- Experience using cloud-based accounting software (Entrata/QuickBooks
preferred) - Bachelor's degree (accounting or finance preferred)
- CPA or active candidate preferred.
- 3-5+ years of accounting and general ledger maintenance experience
(property management experience preferred)
Work Set-up
- Clark Office-Based
- Tuesday to Saturday, 12:00AM - 9:00AM or 1:00AM - 10:00AM
