The Role

The selected candidate will join a fast-paced team supporting a largely international client base across multiple industries, along with the firm's private clients. This position is well-suited for someone looking to expand their expertise and take on a stimulating challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Oversee daily accounting operations, prepare financial statements, and maintain accurate records
• 
  Support and mentor junior members of the accounting team
• 
  Manage both financial and management accounting for clients
• 
  Prepare and submit VAT returns while ensuring full compliance with VAT regulations
• 
  Handle corporate tax calculations and filings
• 
  Provide regular updates and reports to management
• 
  Manage a varied portfolio of client companies

Candidate Profile:

• 
  Fully qualified accountant
• 
  Strong written and verbal communication skills in Maltese, with excellent proficiency in English
• 
  Skilled in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• 
  Able to work to deadlines while maintaining high-quality service standards
• 
  At least 2 years of relevant professional experience
