About the Project
The Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant is a major infrastructure program providing a secure, climate‑resilient water source for Western Australia. Delivered through a multi‑partner JV, the project brings together diverse teams to support essential community outcomes and long‑term sustainability. This role sits within the project finance team and contributes directly to financial governance and project performance.
About the Opportunity
The Senior Project Accountant leads core finance activities, with responsibility for overseeing the accounts' payable function and managing the AP team.
The role supports month‑end close, general ledger integrity, JV reporting, cash flow inputs and compliance with accounting standards.
Working closely with commercial and delivery teams, it ensures accurate, timely financial information that supports decision‑making, audit readiness and strong project controls. Reporting to the Finance Lead, the role serves as a senior technical advisor within the finance function.
