The Opportunity

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role within the Kelly+Partners team, working closely with Partners and Managers to deliver high-quality outcomes.

This role is ideal for an experienced Senior who enjoys owning their work, managing client relationships, and continuing to deepen their technical expertise.

Position Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed accurately and on time
• Prepare and review Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs
• Assist with and contribute to tax planning and advisory for investment-focused clients
• Prepare and review BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG obligations
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing proactive and practical advice
• Liaise with the ATO and other statutory authorities on behalf of clients
• Support and mentor junior staff members as required
• Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and firm events
• Deliver exceptional service aligned with Kelly+Partners’ values

About You

• 4+ years’ experience in a Chartered Accounting practice
• CA qualified or near completion
• SMSF experience highly regarded (or willingness to upskill with internal support)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Proactive, professional, and committed to delivering outstanding client outcomes
