Ride Cycle Club – RIDE is an innovative boutique concept that is challenging the status quo of indoor cycling. Each RIDE is a full-body workout designed to reboot and strengthen both your mind and body. RIDE combines an intense cardiovascular sweat, micro bike movements and full body toning reinforced by the authority of music.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Accountant is a key member of the accounting shared services team. This role will focus on full cycle accounting for Sundays USA and Canadian subsidiary.

They apply their knowledge, experience, and judgement to ensure the delivery of timely, accurate and relevant reporting and analysis for the business. They are responsible for completing current processes and procedures, but they are also curious and look for opportunities to streamline and improve. They can reconcile, explore, build, and propose solutions and flows to improve accuracy and efficiency. They are confident but open to feedback. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Full cycle accounting for Sundays Company; from preparing entries to ensuring all monthly lead sheets are prepared
• Maintain the general ledger, including revenue, expense, liability, and payroll related records
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts including merchant and credit card terminals
• Ownership of monthly reporting related to Bank Covenants
• Supervise General Accountant proving support and reviewing their output
• Provide insight and answers to questions in a timely manner, be a financial advisor to the team
• With support from Accounting Manager, lead the external year end
• Additional duties as required by the Accounting Manager or Controller

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Undergraduate degree with preference given to those holding an accounting designation
• 3-5+ years progressive accounting experience
• Proven full cycle accounting experience
• Proven team player, open to feedback and development
• Extremely well organized and accurate, with superb attention to detail
• Thorough working knowledge of accounting standards for private organizations
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Positive attitude and desire to work in an entrepreneurial, growing company
• Experience with SAP B1, and multi-entity environments considered an asset

The salary band for this role is $70,000 - $95,000 per year.
