Senior Accountant - Full-Time - MUST live in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area

This onsite role in the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky area is responsible for managing financial reporting, portfolio analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards for the company's Ventures portfolio. The Accounting Portfolio Senior Accountant will have strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations. The Accounting Portfolio Senior Accountant will work closely with internal teams, third-party partners, lenders, and investors to provide accurate financial reporting and support the strategic growth and performance of the Ventures portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Reporting – Ventures and Private Equity

  • Oversee preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Monitor liquidity on a weekly basis and ensure timely and accurate execution of all portfolio transactions
  • Review, code, and process invoices to ensure accurate payment, proper account allocation, and compliance with approval workflows.
  • Manage bill pay and payment processing to ensure vendors are paid accurately and on schedule.
  • Prepare and process capital calls and distributions for investment entities, ensuring accuracy of calculations, proper documentation, and timely communication with investors
  • Prepare Ventures quarterly and tax distributions to investors on a timely basis
  • Assist in the preparation and evaluation of financials, budgets, and other analyses related to current and future private equity investments
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations including cash accounts, receivables, payables, accruals, note payables, and other debt obligations
  • Monitor investment account activity and ensure accurate recording of operational and transactional (sale, refinance, etc.) transactions
  • Analyze revenues, expenses, receivables, payables, and accruals to ensure application of proper accounting
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and other analyses related to the Ventures portfolio to support decision making
  • Facilitate and execute complex business transactions across multiple entities, ensuring compliance, proper documentation, and alignment with relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote a tone which ensures our culture and values are extended to both our internal and external partners
  • All other duties as assigned by the Accounting Portfolio Manager

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
  • Proficient in accounting software, financial analysis tools, and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining

The Accounting Portfolio Senior Accountant must be deadline driven, detail oriented, and a team player with a positive attitude who demonstrates flexibility.The company is a professional and deadline‐oriented working environment in an office setting.
