
The Senior Accountant 1 is responsible for helping to ensure the accuracy, completeness and appropriateness of general ledger transactions in accordance with US GAAP. Requires the ability to read and interpret contractual terms to ensure all costs associated with contractual commitments are recorded in the financial statements during the appropriate accounting period. This position will participate in a variety of financial functions including month-end closing, financial reporting and other administrative functions. Areas of responsibility will typically be in most challenging areas of the Company’s accounting, including R&D accruals. A SOX-compliant mindset, strong, proactive, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and desire and ability to identify, recommend and lead improvements is important. Other duties include reviewing coding on invoices, maintaining banking records, reconciling BS schedules, and miscellaneous accounting and administrative duties

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is: $83,000 - $104,000.
