Company Background: Renewable Energy

Work Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Working day: Mon - Fri (8:30 - 5:30)

Salary: RM5,000 - RM7,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Handle bookkeeping and month-end/year-end account closing.
• Prepare accounting reports and analyze financial data to summarize financial status.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budgets.
• Support financial forecasting activities.
• Assist with tax audits and prepare tax returns.
• Liaise with external auditors, the company secretary, and tax agents.
• Process payments, including salaries, claims, and other disbursements.
• Prepare monthly cash flow reports and perform bank reconciliations.
• Manage a full set of accounts independently or in collaboration with the company accountant.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and standard operating procedures.
• Handle administrative duties within the Finance Department.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks or assignments as directed by Management.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years' relevant working experience in accounting or audit.
• Proficient in accounting software such as AutoCount or equivalent.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
