  • 5 years of experience in sales, business development, advertising, account management, marketing, or consulting.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with clients in the region and internal stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a business related field.
  • 3 years of experience managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns and relationships with customers or agencies.
  • 2 years of project management experience, working in a complex, matrixed organization.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be the strategic bridge between Google’s advertising ecosystem and our most sophisticated Retail partners. You will act as both a visionary advisor and a dedicated client advocate, navigating fast-paced and ambiguous environments to drive meaningful sales growth.

In this role, you will manage a sophisticated portfolio across Performance (Search, PMAX, App), YouTube, and Programmatic, providing a unique breadth of experience at the intersection of technology and brand building. You will be a proactive, sales-motivated professional who is eager to refine their consultative skills while contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team culture. You will turn complex business challenges into streamlined Google solutions that deliver measurable impact.

The Global Business Organization (GBO) is the engine that powers Google’s full ecosystem of products and services to help customers and partners succeed and grow. GBO includes the commercial arms of Ads sellers, business development teams, and customer services and support, as well as overlay programs that enable coordinated engagement with Google's most complex and important customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate deep, long-term B/A-level relationships, positioning Google as an essential ally, especially in adverse conditions. Develop and execute comprehensive business plans that drive critical client objectives, balancing immediate wins with sustained growth.
  • Lead with a consultant mindset to anticipate needs, leveraging Google's full suite of AI solutions (Shopping, Video, Display, Search, DV360, etc) to optimize advertising investments and deliver unparalleled efficiency and profitability.
  • Advocate internal and external thought leadership on Retail's future, operational discipline, and Google AI.
  • Apply strong investigative abilities and market intelligence to continuously uncover business needs, demonstrating the tangible impact of our offerings to drive client growth.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver holistic digital strategies, setting the goal for how clients effectively reach and engage millions of users.
