What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Account Manager with Diversey, you will drive sustainable growth by translating marketing strategies into sales plans, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships within the food processing, beverage, brewery, and dairy industries across Southern Vietnam.
This role focuses on growing existing business and acquiring new customers while collaborating closely with Sales, Technical, and Customer Service teams to deliver value-driven solutions to customers across Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth Execution
Translate marketing and sector strategies into operational sales plans to increase sales volume and gross profit, in close collaboration with the Sales Director, Country Leader, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Develop and execute territory and sector growth plans aligned with annual operating plans and company strategy.
Identify priority segments, projects, and execution focus to drive sustainable revenue growth in the Food & Beverage sector.
Market & Business Development
Conduct market analysis including industry trends, competitor movements, customer needs, and business environment insights, and apply findings to develop business models, programs, and sales tools.
Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, including greenfield and expansion accounts.
Analyze deal requirements, commercial risks, and financial potential; develop value propositions and negotiate contracts aligned with company strategy and operations.
Customer & Account Management
Establish, manage, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers to support retention and sustainable growth.
Act as a trusted commercial partner, working closely with customers to understand operational challenges and business objectives.
Collaborate with distributors, partners, and internal teams to expand business in strategic focus areas.
Sales Execution & Project Coordination
Ensure effective execution at customer sites, including equipment and system installation coordination, customer order planning and supply chain alignment, troubleshooting with Technical & Customer Service (TCS) teams, and on-site project coordination and follow-up.
Work cross-functionally with Technical, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to deliver end-to-end customer solutions.
Performance & Compliance
Achieve sales and gross profit targets, pipeline conversion, proposal win rates, and timely deal closure.
Maintain accurate and timely CRM updates, forecasts, and sales reports.
Ensure full compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and local regulations.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as required.
What You’ll Bring to Us:
Bachelor’s degree in food science, food engineering, chemical, or related fields
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Technical Sales or Business Development, with prior hands-on experience in Production, Quality Control, or Quality Assurance within the food, beverage, dairy, or alcohol industries.
Strong understanding of food processing, beverage, brewery, or dairy manufacturing processes
Results-oriented with high sense of drive and urgency with a positive outlook.
Ability to implement problem solving techniques in order to resolve customer issues and take corrective action.
Ability to work independently as well as thrive in a cooperative work environment.
Proficient in English (spoken and written).
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
