As aSenior Account Executive – Workday Services at Kainos, you will lead the expansion of Kainos’Public Sector footprint in Canada, in close alignment withWorkday Canada’s Public Sector growth strategy This role is designed for a senior seller who understands how Workday is prioritized, sold, and implemented acrossmunicipalities, provinces, crown agencies, education, and broader public institutions
Your mandate is to position Kainos as astrategic, trusted Workday Services partner—capable of supporting complex,multi‑stakeholdertransformations while meeting the Canadian public sector’s expectations forgovernance, auditability, value-for-money, and long-term partnership
You will work collaboratively acrossWorkday Canada account teams, Kainos delivery leadership, and cross-functional internal partnersto drive aco-sell, sector-aligned approachthat accelerates Workday adoption and customer success.
The position will report directly to theAmericasVP of Sales for Workday Services andwill also include a dotted line reporting relationship to a senior leader from the Kainos consulting capability (Davis Pier). This will enable collaboration with the Davis Pier team toshare public sector knowledge and bringadditionalconsultative capabilities to Workday Services teams.

Public Sector Workday Leadership
Bring deep knowledge of Workday’s Public Sector use cases—Financial Management, HCM, Payroll, Sourcing, and Planning—and how they address Canadian public sector challenges such as legacy ERP replacement, workforce complexity, compliance, and transparency.
Co-Sell & Partner Alignment with Workday Canada
Operate as a seamless extension of Workday Canada’s Public Sector sales teams. Build strong relationships with Workday Account Executives, RSDs, and Industry leadership to jointly shape pursuits, support pipeline development, and improve win rates in competitive bids.
Municipal, Provincial & Broader Public Sector Growth
Drive net-new pipeline across Canadian municipalities, provinces, crown corporations, education, and agencies—understanding the nuances of each buying model, approval process, and political environment.
Large-Scale ERP Modernization & Transformation
Lead sales efforts around multi-year Workday programs that go beyond implementation—positioning Kainos forchange, adoption, optimization, and managed services , in line with Workday’s emphasis on long-term customer success.This includesleveragingother capabilities within Kainos to bring multi-disciplinary teams and innovative public sector approaches.

Public Sector Strategy & Market Development
Help shape Kainos’ Workday Public Sector GTM in Canada, aligned to Workday’s industry focus areas. Contribute insight into sector trends, upcoming procurements, and emerging opportunities.
Pipeline Creation & Deal Leadership
Identify, qualify, and progress opportunities through complex procurement cycles (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, vendor-of-record programs). Lead end-to-end sales strategy, from early shaping to contract close.
Executive Stakeholder Engagement
Engage credibly with Deputy Ministers, CAOs, CFOs, CHROs, CIOs, and Procurement leaders—balancing institutional priorities (risk, compliance, audit) with transformation outcomes.
Competitive Positioning
ClearlydifferentiateKainos against global SIs and regional competitors by emphasizing delivery quality, Workday specialization, public sector credentials, and long-term partnership.
Consultative Approach
Lead the development of asales and delivery approach tailored to the public sector which brings a consultative approach and differentiates Kainos’ Workday delivery through the addition of value-add capabilities such as advanced analytics, change management, businesstransformationandbehavioralscience.
Internal Collaboration & Bid Excellence
Work closely with delivery, legal, marketing, and operations to produce compliant, high-quality proposals that reflect Workday-aligned messaging, governance rigor, and value realization.

Proven Workday Public Sector Sales Experience– Demonstrated success selling Workday services into Canadian public sector organizations.
Strong Co-Sell Discipline– Experience working hand-in-glove with Workday field teams to build pipelineand close shared opportunities.
Deep Procurement Fluency– Comfortable navigating formal procurement, standing offers, vendor lists, and extended approval cycles.
ERP Transformation Literacy– Ability to articulate the business case for replacing legacy finance, HR, payroll, and workforce systems with Workday.

Minimum (Essential) Requirements
Track recordof building and closingqualified Workday services pipelinein Public Sector Canada
Consistent delivery againstannual and quarterly targetsin complex enterprise sales
Demonstrated success influencing senior government and public institution executives
Strong proposal leadership experience in competitive, multi-vendor Workday bids
Broad understanding of Workday products, digital services, and SI delivery models
