Job Description

Bodewell Group is seeking a full-time Senior Account Executive to join our Seattle team to support sustainability and infrastructure clients. The Senior Account Executive is responsible for executing senior management and client vision, including drafting communications, managing projects, coordinating timelines and deliverables, and building relationships with key audiences. This role also supports business development by cultivating new relationships and identifying potential business opportunities. We are seeking an individual who is ready to support unique communications needs by developing tailored strategies and tactics that deliver results. Position

Location and Travel:?This person must be located within Seattle, WA. Our offices operate on a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite in the Seattle office. Travel is required up to 10-15% of the time. This role will include early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.

Compensation:

The annual base amount for this position is dependent on several factors, including the candidate’s geographic location, experience, and qualifications. The annual base amount may be adjusted based on market conditions in the location where the employee resides.

A typical annual base range for this role is: $70,000– $85,000 - (actual compensation may vary by location and will follow local regulations).

Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, development, and execution of public relations, communications, public affairs, marketing, and outreach initiatives across a variety of client projects.
  • Support senior team members and clients in developing and executing communications and public affairs strategies, messaging, outreach plans, and campaigns.
  • Manage assigned workstreams across multiple projects, including coordinating tasks, tracking timelines and deliverables, and ensuring work meets quality standards and client expectations.
  • Develop and implement social media campaigns, including content development, editorial calendars, and digital content.
  • Draft and develop high-quality internal and external communications and collateral, including fact sheets, client presentations, news releases, eblasts, message platforms, flyers, signage, and other materials as needed.
  • Develop creative and effective media pitches and support media relations efforts to generate coverage and advance client objectives.
  • Support the planning and execution of client events and community outreach activities, including open houses, public meetings, networking events, and other public-facing engagements.
  • Monitor client and project issues and support senior team members in developing appropriate communications and response strategies during crisis or emergency situations.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, research, and presentations, as well as participating in networking, industry, and community events.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, including Interns, Account Coordinators, and Account Executives, as appropriate.
  • Stay informed on current communications trends, technology, media, and best practices in public relations, marketing, and strategic communications.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Political Science, Marketing, Journalism, Public Administration or similar preferred
  • 3+ years' experience in public relations, public affairs or public outreach fields

Language Skills: Employees who are fluent in Spanish, or other languages as needed, may be expected to provide in-house translation and interpretation services as part of their role.
