Senior Account Executive – North America (Remote, US – EST/CST Preferred)

Salary: Up to $140,000 USD + Commission
Location: Remote (US-Based – Eastern or Central Time Zone Preferred)

We’re partnering with an established and growing EdTech business that is continuing to scale across North America.

Following a successful first hire in the US market, the business is now looking for a more senior Account Executive to join their commercial team and take ownership of a key territory.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible role where you’ll influence strategy, build relationships with higher education institutions, and play a major part in shaping the next phase of growth in the US.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, close-knit team that values energy, accountability, and people who genuinely believe in the impact of education technology.

The Opportunity

This role combines strategic account ownership with growth-focused sales execution.

You’ll inherit an established customer base across North America while also helping drive expansion opportunities and identifying future new business growth.

Working closely with senior leadership, customer success, and marketing, you’ll contribute directly to regional go-to-market planning and commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop a North American territory within higher education
• Build and execute regional go-to-market plans
• Drive account growth, expansion, and customer adoption
• Develop strong executive-level relationships across universities and colleges
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
• Collaborate closely with leadership, customer success, product, and marketing teams
• Manage CRM activity and maintain pipeline accuracy
• Deliver presentations and lead consultative sales conversations
• Identify long-term market opportunities within the education sector
• Represent the business at industry events and customer meetings

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of SaaS, technology, or EdTech sales experience
• Experience selling into higher education institutions in the US
• Strong track record of exceeding sales targets
• Experience leading face-to-face meetings with senior stakeholders
• Self-starter mentality with strong ownership and accountability
• Comfortable operating in a growing, fast-moving environment
• CRM experience (HubSpot preferred)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a consultative sales approach
