We are recruiting for the Sr. Associate position in the UK High Net worth Individual (Private Client) Tax team with experience in various compliance and consulting tasks related to UK Individual / Partners Income Tax and Partnership computation. Working as Senior Associate in this team, your responsibilities will include:

••First review of tax computations for new joiners / from the UK, delivering a high-quality service within the agreed time frames.•Preparation of Simple, Medium, Complex and Super Complex Returns.•Preparation of Medium and Complex Calculation spreadsheets (ERI, Property and Share pool)•Develop an in-depth understanding of basic tax concepts as they pertain to international mobility situations (taxable and non-taxable items, gross-up, remittance basis, FTC)•To avail the appropriate credit and mitigate double taxation of income in different jurisdictions.•Supervising and training junior staff members on basic tax technical and tax compliance process matters. Mentor to the < 12 months staff•Build proficiency to be able to do E Grade review•Provide day to day support to Assistant Managers to assist with the delivery of tax computations and client service.•Raise appropriate information requests to gather outstanding data from clients.•Draft client correspondence documents (emails, letters, reports etc.) at relevant points throughout the compliance cycle. Participating in telephone calls with KPMG team members and Client Service Teams.•Being proactive in owning/managing your client allocation & flexible in working arrangements.•Manage the budget as per UK Tax Returns•Provide coaching and support to junior team members in how to use the Technology tools•Performing other ad hoc tax compliance related activities as and when required.•Follow firm’s best practice and policy around the compliance process.•Be part of Resource Exchange program to know the other SL. Collaborate and support other BU during their busy period.

Educational qualifications

•Bachelors/ Master degree from a reputable university with excellent academic result, majoring in accounting or finance or technology or a similar field.•ATT qualification would be an advantage.
