Salary £26,437-£30,410 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications with regular pay reviews)

Our Pippa's House Day Nursery in Claygate, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEND Nursery Practitioner to join our team.

You will provide support within the room, while helping to identify any SEND indicators at an early stage, ensuring that every child receives the appropriate support and encouragement to thrive.

What will you be doing

  • Acting as a liaison between parents and staff for children with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Advising and supporting other Nursery Practitioners regarding children with special educational needs or disabilities
  • Ensuring that appropriate Individual Education Plans are in place
  • Ensuring that relevant background information about children with special educational needs or disabilities is collected, recorded, and updated
  • Keeping up to date with initiatives and best practice
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
