The Ohio Prison Education Exchange Project (OPEEP) is hiring a semester lecturer to teach a yoga and mindfulness workshop series at the Ohio Reformatory for Women (ORW) in Marysville. OPEEP is working to expand the range of prison-based programming in the Arts and Sciences. Humanities education, in particular, equips incarcerated students with essential skills—critical thinking, effective communication, and analytical reasoning—that are foundational to long-term career and reentry success and to leadership.

The Ohio Prison Education Exchange Project (OPEEP) addresses unjust prohibitions to higher education for those involved in the State of Ohio’s criminal justice system, by building robust, interdisciplinary, cross-campus, and sustainable prison education project, including an embedded Bachelor of Arts degree in WGSS at the Ohio Reformatory for Women.
