Your Mission

During this 2-year journey, As an Originator Jr. , you will play a key role in understanding our customers' operations, identifying and structuring commercial opportunities, developing tailored value propositions, and generating value for both ENGIE’s customers and MexCom.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of ENGIE’s gas portfolio in the Mexican market while actively supporting the country’s energy transition and helping build a more sustainable energy future.

Assignments

Customer Prospecting, Attraction, and Relationship Development

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities with potential customers in the natural gas market.
  • Build and maintain long-term commercial relationships based on close, effective communication and a deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Design and propose tailor-made solutions that create value for customers while aligning with the company’s commercial strategy.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to identify prospects, strengthen relationships, and enhance the company’s commercial presence.
  • Work closely with the group’s nine distribution companies to identify business opportunities and maximize portfolio synergies.
  • Develop new customers along the Natural Gas Transportation System and across the different distribution zones in the country.
  • Collaborate actively with the Origination teams in Mexico and the United States to identify opportunities, structure proposals, and strengthen the company’s regional commercial positioning.

Commercial Operations

  • Drive continuous service excellence by working closely with customer service teams to enhance the customer experience and strengthen commercial relationships.
  • Actively contribute to teamwork, the achievement of commercial objectives, and the effective execution of business initiatives.
  • Leverage internal applications and digital tools to ensure efficient, traceable, and up-to-date management of the commercial pipeline and existing customer portfolio.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on business opportunities, proposals, and customer management activities, providing consistency and visibility across commercial processes.

What profile we are looking for

  • Young graduate or maximum 3 years of experience as a Junior.
  • Recent graduated from Chemical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Energy Engineer, Economist, Industrial Engineer degree is a plus.
  • Strong interest in energy markets, IT, management risk and financial market.
  • Eager to learn new skills, culture & ready to be trained.
  • You are fluent in English and additional languages are a plus.
  • Proactive, reliable and results oriented.
  • Collaboration & sense of priorities.
  • mid-term interest in building a career in a strategic, international environment.
