Your Mission
The energy landscape is evolving rapidly, driven by renewables, electrification, new flexible and decentralized technologies (batteries, electric boilers, etc.), geopolitics, and the urgent need for decarbonized, reliable, and affordable energy. Those that know how to embrace this increase in complexity will thrive. We are therefore looking to reinforce our teams with highly-motivated and talented structurers able to leverage complexity into new business opportunities.
You will be part of the S&EM’s energy structuring team and learn from top individuals across 2 missions of 18 months each: one based in Brussels and the other based in Madrid.
As a structurer you are accountable for the transformation of client needs into transactable solutions. During your program, you will learn to:
You will learn about the global energy markets, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) for renewable assets, Flexibility Purchase Agreements (FPA) for batteries, hedging through derivatives (power and cross-commodity options, fixed-for-floating swaps,… ), decarbonized supply offers and more.
You will work on impactful business cases to scale up S&EM’s commercial offering and improve our risk management capabilities, such as in 24/7 carbon free energy, co-location of renewable assets and batteries.
