Job Description

The Self-Serve Coordinator reports to the Recruitment & Automation Manager. The Self-Serve Coordinator is responsible for supporting advertiser needs in our self-service platform, McClatchy Admanager, as needed and driving monthly volume growth in the platform. They will support inbound leads and walk them through account creation and will assist transactional accounts as needed to place campaigns. They will participate in marketing efforts designed to drive platform growth and will promote the platform by reaching out directly to current clients targeted for conversion. In addition, this role provides support to the Ad Manager sales team with special projects and initiatives to grow new revenue in the system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Support self-serve advertising platform by working with advertisers actively placing ads and following up with lapsed customers or those that abandon the process in a timely manner to save revenue.
Develop a strong understanding of our advertising standards and guidelines. Act as liaison between OMT and DanAds professional services to communicate ad issues or needed edits to customers in escalated situations.
Monitor ads waiting approvals or those flagged by the DanAds professional services team and follow up with clients as needed.
During weekly 1-1s with management, provide client feedback, Q&A and updates on usage or needed enhancements. Solicit testimonials from clients to use in marketing.
Monitor ads in McClatchy AdManager with incorrect ad stage and ad status prior to deadline and prior to invoicing
Monitor usage in McClatchy AdManager and flag customers to channel up for growth or potential upsell opportunities.
Understand lead distribution via the inbound@mcclatchy.com inbox as well as be a Hubspot super user, including logging all activity and maintaining a strong pipeline.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Understands products and services offered by the company.
Solid knowledge of digital product, fulfillment needs and SLAs
Ability to prioritize and sort work under pressure
Understanding of how to use analytic reports to identify most pressing issues
Strong Organizational skills
Strong attention to detail is required
Proficient in AdPoint and google sheets
Strong communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and team player skills. Excellent communication and active listening skills.
Ability to interact professionally and build relationships.
Ability to work well, be professional and courteous with account executives, customers, client success team, fulfillment teams, outsource team and production teams
Computer proficiency (Gmail, Google Sheets, Ad Point)
Must be able to work remotely while contributing to a team environment
Regular and reliable attendance.
Ability to work the business hours of the region applying to.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; preferably in advertising or marketing, or the equivalent education, experience, skills and knowledge needed to do the job.
Two years related advertising experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired qualifications:
Able to work independently and effectively. Understanding of advertising products, processes and systems to support account executives. Ability to identify improvement opportunities to maximize efficiency. Keeps downtime to a minimum, proactively seeking out work needing to be done.Helpful & responsive to questions & requests.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is between 55k and 70k annually. Individual base pay may vary within that range, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, departmental equity, training, geography, and local wage and hour laws. Variable Pay is available as well.
