💫 What You’ll Be Doing
As an CYP Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment process for clients seeking ADHD and ASC diagnosis and support. Your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting comprehensive ADHD/ASC assessments through interviews, questionnaires, and diagnostic tools.
• Developing individualised assessment reports and recommendations for treatment plans based on your findings.
• Collaborating with other members of the clinical team to ensure a seamless assessment experience for clients.
• Providing expert guidance and support to clients throughout the assessment journey, ensuring they feel understood and valued.
• Staying current with ADHD and Autism research and best practices, integrating this knowledge into your assessments and client interactions.
• Your expertise will not only enhance the quality of care we provide but also contribute to building a welcoming and effective environment for clients seeking support.
đź’« To thrive in this role, you'll need:
• A relevant clinical qualification (e.g., Psychiatry, Nursing) and experience in the mental health sector
• Registered with one of the following professional bodies: Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), General Medical Council (GMC), General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Social Work England (SWE)
• A strong understanding of ADHD, Autism and related mental health challenges, along with the diagnostic tools used in assessments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and provide compassionate support.
• A collaborative approach—working well with multidisciplinary teams is key to our success.
• The ability to manage multiple assessments efficiently while working remotely.
• Strong report-writing skills with great attention to detail.
• A proactive mindset—comfortable with change, open to new ways of working, and eager to contribute to a growing service
