
The Primary Care Segment Leader is part of the Ultrasound Segment Japan and is responsible for developing and executing commercial and marketing strategies focused on improving modality performance. Key responsibilities include managing all aspects of the franchise business such as offering development, channel strategy, pricing, product quality control, and post-launch service.
This role is accountable for the sales of products, services, solutions, or projects within Japan, driving growth in collaboration with the P&L and regional marketing & sales teams. The Segment Leader gathers customer feedback and provides input on product and solution definitions and requirements. They also work closely with commercial and product marketing teams, as well as global and international strategic marketing, to lead the deployment of innovative modality strategies.

As a member of the Japan Ultrasound leadership team, the Segment Leader defines appropriate channels (direct, indirect, digital), regional go-to-market strategies, and key commercial enhancement programs. They manage quarterly and annual forecasts for market/orders/sales/profit, set annual targets, and ensure achievement against those goals.
