To support this mission, Syngenta’s Seed Operations Team is seeking a Seeds Processing Specialist in the Antalya Vegetable R&D site in Türkiye. This role a hands-on leadership role responsible for the full processing flow of seeds and biological materials, from production to shipment, while ensuring traceability, quality, and compliance at every step.

Accountabilities

  • Managing day-to-day processing activities, working cross-functionally with breeders, farm staff, logistics, and regulatory authorities
  • Managing the end-to-end S2S process in full compliance with both global Syngenta standards and local regulatory requirements
  • Planning and coordinating weekly, monthly, and annual seed and biological material movements using MINT and internal tracking tools
  • Monitoring and controlling all processing equipment and facilities within the area of responsibility, ensuring assets are operational and well-maintained
  • Detecting and resolving discrepancies in seed activities, providing accurate data and inputs for planning cycles and ensuring full traceability of all seed and biological material movements
  • Owning Detect and resolve discrepancies in seed activities, providing accurate data and inputs for planning cycles
  • Liaising with NPPOs and Health Plant Authorities for third-country declarations, field inspection reports and regulatory compliance
  • Maintaining traceability and status records for all plant health files
  • Leading and developing a team of processing staff, setting clear expectations and supporting individual growth
  • Coordinating permanent and temporary staff assignments in line with operational demands
  • Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and implementing OpEx principles in daily operations
  • Analysing processes using operational metrics and KPIs to identify inefficiencies and drive improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with GSPP standards across all processing activities
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with breeders, marketing, sales, and farm staff across the site and beyond
  • Reporting regularly to the Site Head and S2S Lead on operational status, risks, and improvement opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or a closely related field
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in seed processing, biological material handling or agricultural operations
  • Fluency in English – Verbal and Written (C1)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate a team in an operational environment
  • Solid understanding of seed operations, quality management, and traceability systems
  • Familiarity with GSPP standards is a strong advantage
  • Driving License
