Job Description

About the position
We’re seeking a Security Systems Specialist, to be the system owner and conduct project management to ensure the lifecycle, compliance, and performance of our validated and non-validated security systems. You will be accountable for system strategy, delivery, and day-to-day reliability, owning integrations, change and configuration management, auditability, and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Security, IT/Infrastructure, Quality/Compliance, Operations, and external vendors) to deliver secure, compliant, and highly available systems that protect people, assets, and data. You’ll drive large-scale projects from planning, go-live and sustainment, maintain the roadmap and budgets, ensuring that governance and SOPs translate into practical, well-documented operations.

You will be a part of SBC, but also have another colleague, working as a Security System Specialist.

You may be responsible for national and international systems. Some travel may be required to the UK and USA.

Key responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Support all large projects including coordinating with other systems and package owners.
  • Provide technical leadership to site teams and partners.
  • Configure business/compliance needs with documented requirements and controlled releases.
  • Ensure system health and audit readiness (updates, servers and interdependencies with other systems).
  • Maintain validated state through controlled changes and periodic review.
  • Maintain system roadmap lifecycle plan, and budget (licensing, hardware refresh, vendor contracts), architecture and integrations (dataflows etc.).
  • Contract management (meetings and contracts).
  • Support the daily Security Operation.

What we are looking for
The ideal candidate has

  • Bachelor’s degree in security engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience considered, such as Security technician and/or Security integrator.
  • 5+ years owning/ engineering enterprise security systems or computerized systems in regulated environments, including project management.
  • Proven integration and change/configuration management.
  • Hands-on experience maintaining validated systems and operating under quality systems with periodic review and audit readiness.
  • Demonstrated vendor and contract management experience.

The ideal technical skills

  • Servers and networking knowledge, identity/access and system monitoring/logging.
  • Experience with Windows Server Software, virtualization, and common database technologies.
  • Ability to define and review architecture diagrams, dataflows, and security controls; comfort with scripting/automation is a plus.
  • Experience with Lenel and Avigilon or similar.

The ideal project management skills

  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver complex programs.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.

As a member of SBC at Fujifilm Biotechnologies, will you be reporting to the Department Head of Security & Business Continuity.

SBC is entrusted with maintaining on-site security, Business Continuity Management, Fire strategy, daily management of our Fire Systems, Reception Services and addressing a variety of crucial security-related responsibilities. We have collaboration across the entire campus, in strong collaboration with our Facility Management Department. Together, we ensure the security, safety, efficiency, GxP compliance and continuous growth of our operations.
