Job Description

The right person will have in-depth knowledge and practical ability to run wire in new/existing construction - be able to troubleshoot existing burglar alarm system, install and program new systems, generate sales quotes and interact with customers effectively.

Other plus's are: In depth knowledge of DSC security sytems, including NEO and Power Series. Ability to work alone or as a team, being humble and ensuring one's work is sound. Being neat, clean and courteous.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Pull and terminate cables
• Rough-in and finish work
• Installation and maintenance of other electronic equipment
• Custom Installation of various hardware in finished and unfinished residential/ commercial (interior and exterior)
• Install, configure, and test various surveillance hardware, smart-home gadgets, cabling etc
• Maintain cleanliness and safety at all times
• Able to take direction and use cognitive thinking in order to complete complex installations solo or as a team
• Other related duties as assigned by Site Lead or Superintendent
• Must be good at solving and complex installation configurations on the fly

Minimum Requirements:

• DSC Security Systems install and programming experience
• Must have clean driving record
• Prior construction experience - knowing your way around a construction site/ home etc
• Prior experience running and terminating RJ45, Coax and RJ-11
• Ability to follow instruction
• Excellent communication skills; strong customer service skills
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds; must be able to bend, stoop, reach, climb.

• Computer Networking and WiFi experience
• Camera NVR programming/ setup experience
• DSC Security products sales experience
