Job Description

Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Security Surveillance Coordinator who will monitor all Planned Parenthood’s health centers and headquarters. As a surveillance coordinator, you will analyze, monitor and report any issues that may arise at any of Planned Parenthood locations. The surveillance coordinator supports the Security Management in creating trend reports and completing work order assignments to support the Agency’s business and goals. Available shifts are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM. Open availability for on call and Saturday work as needed is required.

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) to three (3) year experience in security operations.
  • Two (2) years’ experience of closed-circuit television system and alarm monitoring. (CCTV)
  • Available shifts are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM. Weekends included.

About the position:

  • Abortion patients are cared for at each of our health centers and in part through the administrative, support, and other non-clinical services provided at all PPLA locations and by all PPLA employees, and supporting these critical services is an essential job duty and fundamental responsibility of all employees and contractors. +
  • Monitor Surveillance cameras for activity.
  • Work with security team to oversee work orders.
  • Data collection from ticketing system.
  • Response to 24/7 security line in their scheduled shift.
  • Assist with administrative task as assigned by security team.
  • Sending regular evening updates to security team for trend analysis.
  • Resolve issues with independent contractors regarding alarm access.
  • Coordinate inventory of secure keys.
  • Respond and assist with afterhours emergencies in conjunction with security team.
  • Assist with access for afterhours scheduling updates in conjunction with Scheduling department.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts.
  • Shifts include: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM
  • SOC - Security operations experience Preferred.
  • Customer service Preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Los Angeles County.
  • Reliable means of transportation for onsite and off-site work.
  • If using a personal vehicle to drive for work purposes, a valid CA driver license and current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of CA vehicle code are required. Access to company car provided after 90-day introductory period.
