Perform duty as Team leader for all guards in the area of responsibility and ensure that under supervision staffs carry out their duties effectively. Perform duties of Control supervisor/ Ward supervisor/DSC as and when required.Specifically, you will be responsible for:Lead and supervise a team of guards in his area of responsibility and ensure that the deputed staff carry out their duties effectively in line with the security program policies.Carryout periodic check of the guards deployed on duty to ensure their alertness and vigilance.Assesses security needs and controls employee and visitor access to premises and ensures authorized entry only.Provide security assistance to the staff, students, visitors and patients as per institutional policies.Assist and escort police and law enforcement personnel with in AKU premises as and when required.Ensure quick and effective response to all security emergency calls as and when requiredCarry out initial investigations of security incidents as and when requiredPerform long hours of duty on special occasions if and when assigned.Perform any other Tasks assigned by Control Supervisor/DSC/ Manager.

Requirements:Matric / Intermediate (Graduate preferred).At least 3 years’ experience at the level of Junior Commissioned Officer in the Pakistan Armed Forces, Rangers, Frontier Corps, Frontier Constabulary, Coast guard or Police (Non Commissioned Officer with degree level education (preferably Masters) and good communication skills may also be considered for the said position).Experience and service with SSG & Intelligence units will be definite advantage.Strong supervisory skills.Excellent communication and investigation skills.Efficiency in handling small arms i.e. Rifles and Pistols.Efficiency in unarmed combat, self-defense and restraining techniques.Efficiency in handling communication equipment i.e. Wireless sets & Telephones.Ability to drive preferred.Must be able to read and write Urdu fluently.Must be Medical Category "AYE" (Fit in all respects).Proficient in customer / public dealing and management of aggressive behavior.Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted
