
Raffles & Fairmont the Red Sea, positioned in the kingdom's groundbreaking Red Sea Project, will provide visitors access to two nature-focused resorts. With 361 rooms, 11 distinct dining concepts, including overwater restaurant with views of the Red Sea and the mangroves, and a Spa.
Shift Supervision & Post Control
• Lead assigned Security colleagues during the shift, ensuring correct deployment, punctuality, grooming, equipment readiness, and clear pre- and post-shift briefings.
• Supervise daily Security operations across assigned posts, including Control Room, lobby, loading bay, back-of-house, colleague entrance, visitor access, VIP parking, guest floors, outdoor areas, and patrol zones.
• Ensure essential company-issued equipment such as radio / communication device, torchlight, pocket mask, keys, passes, and first-aid items are available, controlled, and used properly.
• Conduct regular checks on Security colleagues and posts to confirm vigilance, adherence to standards, and effective handover.
Access, Patrols & Guest Safety
• Manage access points to ensure all colleagues, casual labour, vendors, contractors, suppliers, visitors, and vehicles enter through authorized channels.
• Maintain vigilance at pass counters and support the Visitor Management System, contractor controls, vehicle checks, and delivery access procedures.
• Perform roving safety and security patrols within and around the resort, including guest areas, heart-of-house, accommodation / service areas where applicable, and external resort surroundings.
• Identify fire hazards, unsafe acts, suspicious behaviour, breaches of procedure, or maintenance risks and take immediate corrective or escalation action.
Control Room, CCTV & Systems
• Be in charge of the Hotel Security Control Room during the shift and ensure all official documents are handled accurately according to SOP.
• Monitor CCTV coverage, alarms, access control, duress systems, fire-life-safety alerts, and security equipment, highlighting faults or unusual observations immediately.
• Support preliminary CCTV review for investigation and training purposes in accordance with privacy and evidence-handling standards.
• Coordinate with Engineering, IT, or relevant departments to report system faults, door lock issues, safe box concerns, and security equipment defects.
Emergency Response & Incident Reporting
• Respond to security, medical, fire, duress, lost child, crowd control, guest concern, suspicious activity, and other emergencies as quickly as possible.
• Perform First Aid / CPR / AED where trained and required, and coordinate with internal and external emergency responders.
• Gather facts, document incidents, prepare end-of-shift reports, complete accident / incident forms, and maintain accurate logbook entries.
• Handle lost and found reports, key and pass inventory, safe box issues, door lock concerns, lift control, VIP movement support, crowd control, and ushering duties as assigned.
Team Support & Compliance
• Coach Security Officers and CCTV colleagues on post standards, report writing, guest interaction, emergency procedures, and professional conduct.
• Ensure all activities comply with hotel policies, security protocols, confidentiality standards, Saudi regulations, and brand expectations.
• Education: High school diploma required; diploma or certificate in Security, Hospitality, Safety, or Emergency Management preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in hotel security operations, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity; luxury resort or pre-opening experience preferred.
• Languages: Good English required; Arabic preferred.
• Technical skills: CCTV monitoring, access control, visitor management, key control, incident reports, logbooks, fire-life-safety systems, Microsoft Office, and radio communication.
• Certifications: Security license or certification as required locally; first aid / CPR / AED and basic fire safety training preferred.
• Desired profile: observant, disciplined, composed, firm yet polite, service-minded, confidential, physically fit for patrols, and able to work rotating shifts.
