Pay Rate: $22.29/hour CAD

Paladin Security is seeking an experienced and motivated Security Supervisor to lead our team at North York General Hospital's Finch site. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive environment for patients, visitors, healthcare professionals, and hospital staff.

As the Security Supervisor, you will serve as the key link between frontline security personnel and hospital leadership, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and effective incident management. Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to security personnel.
• Conduct coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate shift schedules and staffing requirements.
• Deliver ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Foster a positive and accountable team culture.

Security Operations

Oversee daily security operations and shift activities.

• Maintain a visible and proactive presence throughout the hospital.
• Conduct facility patrols and identify potential security risks.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies as required.
• Lead investigations and prepare comprehensive incident reports.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure adherence to all hospital, client, and company security procedures.
• Conduct security audits and inspections.
• Monitor training compliance and certification requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Client & Stakeholder Relations

• Act as the primary point of contact for operational concerns.
• Work closely with the Client Service Manager and hospital representatives.
• Address security-related issues promptly and professionally.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Must Have

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification from a WSIB-approved provider.
• Valid Ontario G-Class Driver's License.
• Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination.
• Complete immunization records including:
• Measles
• Mumps
• Rubella
• Varicella
• Two-step TB skin testing
• Ability to successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Willingness to complete N95 mask-fit testing during onboarding.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain:
• Use of Force (UOF) Certification
• Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Certification
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Nice to Have

• Minimum one year of experience in a Security Supervisor or Team Lead position.
• Post-secondary education in Law Enforcement, Police Foundations, Security Studies, or a related field.
