MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.
· Minimum of 18 years of age. · Clear a criminal background check. · High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job.
Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers. Pushing/pulling/carrying lifting may include up to 25 lbs (event evacuation), stair climbing. Ability to sit, twist, turn, bend as required to perform duties within the facility. Must be capable of standing for long periods of time.

Minimum Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional security experience in a retail, commercial, or public setting.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Additional coursework or certifications in security management, criminal justice, or emergency response preferred.
- Licensing and Certifications:
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in incident reporting, de-escalation, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to operate and monitor security systems, CCTV, and access control equipment.
- Knowledge of emergency procedures, evacuation protocols, and safety regulations.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure.
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform patrols across large areas, including stairs and parking structures.
- Capable of responding rapidly to incidents and emergencies.
- Availability:
- Must have open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet operational needs and respond to emergencies as required.
